The G613 makes use of Logitech’s Romer-G mechanical switch. My feelings for them haven’t changed much since they were first introduced – they are tactile and calm enough, like Cherry MX Browns, but not very comfortable. On the other hand, they should be more responsive and last longer, so exchanges can be beneficial.

Logitech has used extra real estate to load a keyboard with separate media controls on the top left of the board, and six macro buttons to its left. The only small problem I have with the buttons is the separate buttons for volume up and down, which makes quickly adjusting the level during a heated game session to a fiddly touch. I also prefer roller control – although, again, this is a small annoyance.

Logitech G HUB Software lets you save profiles on the board, on a computer, or with automatic game detection. With your profile, you can adjust what each mouse button does, you can choose to map back to other mouse clicks, and tap the keyboard or macro recorded. The G Hub currently only supports modern Logitech gaming devices and is in early access.
